Congratulations to INVADER's own Andy Fisher for his Emmy nomination for Live in Front of A Studio Audience: Norman Lear's 'All in the Family' and 'The Jeffersons'! Andy shares the nomination with James Burrows.
A little trivia...Andy's first nomination came for the classic Jimmy Kimmel episode, Jimmy Kimmel Sucks, during which Matt Damon hijacked and hosted the entire evening.
In addition to now directing well over 1,000 episodes of Jimmy Kimmel Live, Andy has helmed spots for YouTube, Boost Mobile, MTV, The Emmy's, and more.
Season Two of the Netflix hit series "The Confession Tapes" dropped this week, including three binge-worthy episodes by INVADER director Christina Burchard.
The true-crime documentary-series delves into the stories of suspects who fessed up to atrocious crimes--but there’s a twist: All the confessions made by these convicted murderers were allegedly coerced, involuntary, or false. Season One garnered rave reviews and was nominated for an IDA Award for Best Series.
Christina joins a growing list of marque names helming true-crime docs for the streaming giant, including Errol Morris, Barbara Schroeder and Joe Berlinger.
